BRIAN LOGAN: SPRINT AT CAMDEN PEOPLE'S THEATRE
Camden People's Theatre is renowned for staging really interesting, new and innovative stuff, and their annual Sprint Festival showcases a whole lot of brilliance and brilliance-in-development. This year's programme is no exception; on casting my eye over the 2015 line up, I pretty much wanted to see everything.

That being the case, I thought it might be a good idea to get an overview of this year's event from CPT's current artistic director Brian Logan. So I did just that. You can read the interview here.

Sprint runs from 5-29 Mar. There are many, many promising events, so have a look at this page here for more info about them all.

GILES COLE: THE HEART OF THINGS
Next week sees the timely premiere, at Jermyn Street Theatre, of Close Quarter Productions' 'The Heart Of Things', a play set against the backdrop of Westminster politics, during the aftermath of the last general election.

The production reunites writer Giles Cole and director Knight Mantell, who previously worked together on the highly acclaimed Terence Rattigan bio-piece 'The Art Of Concealment', which was also staged at Jermyn Street, back in 2012. To find out more about the play - and just how much politics plays a part - I sent some questions over to the playwright. You can read the interview here.

'The Heart Of Things' is on at Jermyn Street theatre from 10 Mar until 4 Apr. See the venue website here for more info and tickets.

DANIEL BUCKLEY: LARDO
When I heard about pro-wrestling themed play 'Lardo', which kicks off a month long run at the Old Red Lion this week, I suddenly remembered that I went through a brief period, years ago, when I became utterly fascinated by WWE (or WWF, which is what it was called back then) and the machinations of its colourful stars. So of course I immediately thought "well, that should make an interesting show, then".

That said, it sounds like the play, with its very human, family-centred storyline will be entertaining whether you are a wrestling fan or not; I spoke to lead actor, Daniel Buckley, to find out more. You can read the interview here.

'Lardo' is on at Old Red Lion Theatre until 28 Mar. See this page here for more info and to book tickets.

RACHEL PARISH: HELLSCREEN
'Hellscreen' is a multi-genre immersive performance inspired by a classic Japanese horror story in which Jonny Woo plays a successful artist with a dark personality; the resulting production, created by a host of highly talented creatives, promises to be sensual, terrifying and exciting.

Ahead of the show's run at Vault Festival, I sent some questions over to director and co-creator Rachel Parish, to find out more about the show, and the team behind it. You can read the interview here.

'Hellscreen' is on at Vault Festival until 8 Mar. See this page here for more info and to book tickets.
